'Call Nonna: Press Memory'
Call Nonna: Press Memory is a documented event that stretches an intimacy of personalised interaction into a collective unknown. Whilst some other telephone artworks (Yoko Ono, Walter De Maria to name a few) marginalise their audience’s investment by essentially forming a lottery-style engagement with their viewers, this project is an attempt to consider the audience’s position when empowered with a sense of trust- to share a moment with my grandmother (or remind them of their own).
